Global network
Lufthansa Cargo will continue to expand its global network. As of June 5th they will serve for the first time the Chinese metropolis of Tianjin (TSN). Tianjin is one of the most important economic centers in China. Since 2008 Lufthansa Cargo has been actively conducting business at the airport in a joint-venture partnership via the handling company Tianjin Air Cargo Terminal. On Tuesdays and Saturdays a MD-11 of Lufthansa Cargo takes off from Frankfurt. The return flight is on Wednesday and on Sunday.

Lufthansa Cargo is further broadening its range of services with regard to flights to India. As of the 7th of May, Mumbai and Hyderabad will be served by one additional flight per week, leaving Frankfurt on Fridays. The return flight is scheduled to leave on Saturday.

In addition, Lufthansa Cargo increases its frequencies to the Brazilian airport Viracopos, near Sao Paulo. New is a second flight out of Frankfurt every Sunday with the return flight from South America taking place every Monday.
